McLaren driver Oscar Piastri has shared his thoughts on the recent Canadian Grand Prix. According to Piastri, his team lacked a significant advantage throughout the race.
“Our speed on Medium tires in the early stages wasn't great. I think we were strong when others were degrading. Unfortunately, we needed the race to be around 100 laps instead of 70 to fully utilize that advantage. At times we were quick, but in other moments, we lacked the pace. Overall, we didn't have enough of an edge to make overtakes on the track. So, it's a bit disappointing,” Piastri told MotorsportWeek.
